About Us

HOMNE is a home goods store built on one simple belief: the things you live with every day should work beautifully and look beautiful doing it. A lamp, a storage jar, a placemat, a bin. Small objects, but you touch them every single day. They deserve better than "it does the job".

Where our name comes from

HOMNE is two words joined together.

Put them together and you get what we set out to be: everything for your home, in one place. Not everything for the sake of it, but everything you actually need to make a space feel finished. From the kitchen bench to the balcony, from the bedside table to the bathroom shelf.

Our mission

We want to make good design normal in everyday homes, not something you save for the living room feature wall.

Too often you have to choose. Either something functional that is ugly, or something pretty that falls apart in three months. We do not think that trade-off should exist. So we go looking for the pieces that do both, and we leave the rest behind. Every product we list has to earn its place in a real home, being used by real people, every day.

Because a home is not decorated once and then finished. It is built slowly, one good object at a time. We just want to make each of those choices easier.

What we bring to your home

• Design you are happy to leave out. Nothing you need to hide in a cupboard when guests arrive. Clean shapes, considered colours, finishes that sit quietly alongside whatever you already own.
• Function that holds up. Lids that seal. Mats that wipe clean. Lights that give you the right glow, not a hard glare. We look at how a product behaves after six months, not just how it photographs on day one.
• Every room, one place. Kitchen and storage, living room, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor and balcony, plus our lighting range. You should not need six different stores to pull one home together.
• An honest shopping experience. Clear photos, clear descriptions, clear pricing in Australian dollars. If something is not right when it arrives, talk to us and we will sort it out.

How we choose what we sell

Before a product goes on the site, we ask three questions.

• Does it solve a real problem? If it is just another object to store, it does not make the cut.
• Would we want it in our own home? If we would not put it on our own bench, we will not put it on yours.
• Does it lift the room? The best pieces do more than sit there. They make the space around them feel better.
